The 28th AMTEC Conference in Halifax, June 3 to 6, 2001, offers two accommodation options.

ON-SITE ACCOMMODATIONS:

A block of 150 single and 50 double rooms has been reserved at Howe Hall, a Dalhousie Residence located 100 metres from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Centre, in which AMTEC 2001 will take place.

Rates for these accommodations are $40 per night single, and $60 per night double.  Student rates of $28 and $47, respectively, are available on submission of valid student ID information from a school, college, or university. These rates may be extended either side of the conference dates for the convenience of attendees.

Room rates for AMTEC guests include daily maid and towel service; breakfast; access to the Howe Hall Computer Room for Internet access; and regular membership privileges at the Dalplex Athletic and Fitness Centre for the duration of your stay.

OFF-SITE ACCOMMODATIONS:

For those wishing full hotel facilities during their stay, AMTEC 2001 has also negotiated a special rate of $129 per night, single, at the two closest hotels, both within a mile of the conference site.  These are the Lord Nelson Hotel , 1515 South Park Street, and the Holiday Inn Select,  1980 Robie Street.
